Smithbucklin Welcomes New Association to Professional Societies and Communities Network
Nov. 28, 2023
CHICAGO— Smithbucklin announced today they were selected by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) to serve as the organization’s first association management partner. The nationwide professional association promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.
Founded in 1962, AAML is the leader in family law continuing education, publications, networking, and training. The organization is comprised of nearly 1,400 members, which it refers to as Fellows, who provide a wide range of legal services in all issues related to marriage and divorce.
AAML recognizes the value of Smithbucklin’s management expertise, knowledge, and best-in-class integrated services and will transition from a standalone association to Smithbucklin’s Professional Societies and Communities client network.
“We look forward to establishing a relationship with AAML built on trust, solutions, and growth,” said Jim McNeil, president of association management at Smithbucklin. “Our passionate and talented teams will work together to help AAML attract new demographics and specialists to the field and execute a cohesive strategy from the board’s diverse and valuable perspectives.”
“My excitement for the future of the Academy is off the charts. Smithbucklin is the perfect change agent to lead AAML to the next level of growth and relevancy,” said J. Benjamin Stevens, AAML president.
The search for an executive director to serve AAML is currently underway.
