Jay Younger partners with association leaders and boards on effective governance and strategic direction. As president of McKinley Advisors, a Smithbucklin company, he leads a team of expert consultants that helps organizations make decisions, align leadership and plan for the future.

Jay has more than 25 years of experience advising associations across industries. He is an American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Fellow and an active contributor to the association community through speaking, writing and volunteer leadership. He received the 2024 Association Partner of the Year award from Association TRENDS and CEO Update.

Jay holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Duke University.
