Jon Hoffmeister He/Him

Vice President, Financial Management and Accounting Services

Jon Hoffmeister is responsible for delivering scalable, high-quality financial operations and strategic advisory services to Smithbucklin’s clients.

Jon works closely with executive directors, boards and internal service teams to improve financial transparency and align financial operations with organizational strategy. With more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit financial management, he specializes in building efficient financial frameworks that enable organizational leaders to better understand performance, manage risk and make informed strategic decisions.

Prior to joining Smithbucklin, Jon was a client-service partner with CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), where he served as a client relationship leader advising both private companies and nonprofit organizations on accounting, audit and tax matters.

Jon holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Northern Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
