Why have you dedicated your career to serving associations?In comparison to the for-profit sector, I find association work very rewarding. I find less bureaucracy in associations, making it easier to get things done in a timely manner. It is my pleasure to work with volunteers who are dedicated to their profession and have a passion for paying it forward.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of from your team or board?I am proud of the leadership my team and our board have displayed, especially in the last few years. Their resilience truly enables us to keep moving forward. There is a solution to every problem – it just takes collective creativity to produce it.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of from your team or board?Associations touch lives across small towns and megacities, bringing people together in ways they would not have been able to without this community. We frequently receive unprompted thanks and words of gratitude from members– appreciative of the value our clients bring to them, both personally and professionally.

Why have you dedicated your career to serving associations?Working with associations offers me the ability to flex my business and entrepreneurial skills in an environment and for organizations that significantly impact professionals and industries. It is this kind of “business on a mission” focus that I find compelling and rewarding.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of from your team or board?I’m most proud of how we give back to the profession. We’re fostering the next generation of research and science to realize new discoveries and contribute to therapies and clinical pathways that improve the quality of patients’ lives.
